The story revolves around Sydney Livingstone and her struggles as a tennis player. Her childhood best friend and doubles 'Milena Lombardi', who she fell out with, committed suicide four years ago. Moving on, Sydney dedicated her life to tennis playing. She now had her little circle consisting of her lover 'Enzo,' best friend 'Nicole,' her double partner 'Anja' and Anja's coach 'Russo.'

Her life started to get a lot more complicated. She had an upcoming US tournament, which she had to qualify for, or she would be unable to pay her dues. Someone from her past was hunting her. Her father was trying to worm his way back into her life, and the tournament director hated her. With the stalker getting more aggressive with each match she wins, it is now up to Sydney to either stay and face the stalker head-on while competing for the game or run for her dear life.

I loved how the author was able to keep the suspense. Each chapter was filled with a piece of exciting information that would keep you wanting more. I liked how the author switched from the Stalker Point of View to Sydney's life. I also loved how detailed the author was about tennis. Even though I had never been to a tennis match before, I could feel the player's tension. The book also contains detailed strategies to win a tennis match. I learnt a lot and even looked up some words to understand more about their partners.

I also love Sydney's personality. She was able to stay positive as much as she could amongst the chaos. She used humour to diffuse the tension she and those around her were feeling.

The only negative aspect of the book was how weak the relationship between those around her seemed to have. They all had a strong connection with Sydney and not with one another. There wasn't any trust amongst them.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. The book seems to be professionally edited. I loved how Sydney was passionate about her dreams, and she was willing to go to any length for her career despite the challenges she was facing and how complicated her life had turned out. The sexual scenes seem to be minimized in case you do not like romance. If you like crime fiction, especially in a sports setting, with a little bit of romance, I would recommend Faults by Orion Gregory.
