Review of Ironing
Ironing. by Navajo, is a great Novel with many different characters that set each scene with climate which result as exciting, too serious, funny or sad. This book really appeal to the real time events as we identify scenes were one could think of his/her own experience, could be love life, challenges at home faced by parents, Children. The Author knows how to keep readers attention with his or her writing style. It all started in the London road with Trio Friends namely Emma, Ginie and Royanda who were looking forward to attend a Dog race. Also you will find Mrs Wójcik who played chess and believed any male player who can defeat her would be a perfect match to be in a relationship with.
On the other hand you will find Mr and Mrs Huefara who always fight over her daughter relationship, specifically Mr Huefara has a preference or ideal man to marry her daughter, quote from the book, "He is not a nice English boy is he? I want her to marry a nice English boy". Tomas dumped Royanda via WhatsApp Text and his friends Peter and Ahmed want to comfort her just to sleep with her. Lastly Mia faced with incident as she attended a concert on her return traveling using Train.
Ironing. by Navajo, is written in a simple English language and well edited and easy to follow as the Author ensured the flow between scenes allow the reader to digest and want to start over to see what next not to lose momentum. The Author has an ability to mix characters e.g. smart, Troublesome and sweet or calm individuals who were able to share bond and experience as they travel along in one bus hoping to reach their destination. Royanda complements Emma that she smells great “Like a boy", and Emma advised "her mum gave her so the guys won’t hit on her" very irony experience. Otherwise it is a great book I must say as I would laugh the whole time just listening to Emma and anything she says told by her mum is insane.
One thing I didn't like about the Ironing. by Navajo, was when I did not understand if Author has shorten their wording or what e.g. "Please mate," Peter begs, "Me mum kicked me out".
I rate the Ironing. by Navajo, 3 out of 4 stars., since it is a fantastic book most would love to read, nothing beats great writing style by the Author also the relevant content used e.g. shared personal experiences and shared memories, I just couldn't stop laughing or talk about this book after reading it with my family. I couldn't rate it lower or high to my given score since these always a room for improvement in editing professionally with zero errors.
After reading the Ironing. by Navajo, I believe this book will appeal more to early adult to middle adult individuals as it contain less sexual content and more of vulgar slangs across the book.
