The book Who Told You That You Were Naked? A Refreshing Reexamination of the Garden of Eden by William E. Combs is a book about sin, salvation and faith. The book has some dramatization to illustrate some of the events that occurred in the Bible. Sin came through one man, Adam and death through Cain. The author wrote about God's grace and how God plans to save people from sin through Jesus Christ. According to a Bible verse, Jesus Christ was the only gift for the forgiveness of sins because His the only one who didn't sin. Salvation will only come from having faith in the Lord. The author went on to give examples of men who had faith in God and were saved.

The author gave a detailed account on how sin came through one man and death also came through sin and he supported it with scriptures from the Bible. The illustrations were a creative way to paint a clear picture of what transpired long ago according to the Bible. The author gave a series of events from when Adam sinned to Cain killing his brother to Noah to Abraham, explaining how all these people are interlinked to the course of salvation.

The book's title was a bit misleading from the actual story line. The title gave a perception that it was going to focus on Adam and Eve and what transpired in the garden but the book actually focused more on events after Adam and Eve were no longer alive. The study questions at the end of each chapter kind of disturbed the flow of the book because to answer those questions one has to stop reading the book and look for answers from the Bible.

I would recommend the book to all Christians who want to strengthen their faith in Christ because the book discusses how everything about Christianity began. I would also recommend it to people who do not read the Bible to read this book, not only for the summary of what the Bible comprises of but also to have knowledge on Christianity and their beliefs. The book might not be suitable to people who are completely against Christianity.

I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars . The book gave detailed and interlinked events and the author supported everything with Bible verses. I would have scored it a four if it wasn't for the title that I was not happy with. The book is well written with no spelling or grammatical errors.
