Soul-Fullness is an enchanting self-help book written by Tosin King James. The author has designed the book into a 21-day program each talking about different things which can be applied in our daily activities and lifestyle to make our lives more meaningful. In chapter one which is day one of his program, the author speaks about the preparedness of the program and what should be done. Here one is supposed to choose a moment in the future, understand why they picked it, create a journal and write down the 21-day dreams, goals, visions, and any other related experiences. Any drama during the period should be noted as well. In the rest of the chapters, the author speaks about what is to be done each day until the program comes to an end. After completion of the program, the author takes us through the principles of Soul-Fullness and testimonies that were given by different people.

I liked Soul-Fullness by Tosin King James because the author based his teachings on what he went through and thus making it relatable. For instance, the vision he had of a chicken and what happened when he failed to obey the revelations he had. The story is so easy to relate to what happens to us on daily basis and we can learn from it on a personal level. Secondly, I loved the fact that the author used simple and clear English which made the book easy to read and understand without having to search for the meaning of some terms. Last but not least, I loved the short stories that accompanied each part of the book. They made the book not only interesting but also educative. Unlike other self-help books that I have read so far, this book stood out.

What I didn’t like about the book was the excessive use of subheadings by the author which I feel wasn’t necessary. An example is the first part of the book which had almost ten subheadings. What annoyed me further was how the author fixed subheadings in between stories. The book can turn out perfect if the author fixes this.

I rate Soul-Fullness 4 out of 4 stars because it was professionally edited and I barely came across any errors. Also, the illustrations used before every chapter beautified the book and motivated me to read further. I did not give the book 3 out 4 stars because of the reasons mentioned above. In addition, the author’s personal stories spiced up the book. Some self-help books can be so boring but this one was lively. Also, the author did a top-notch job in delivering his message.

This book is suitable for readers who love books about dreams, prophecies, and spiritual growth. Soul-Fullness by Tosin King James will be a perfect read for them.
