Peeking into a possible future through the eyes of the writer, B.A. Bellec tells a fictional story of what might lie ahead for this world as a result of humanity's actions in the book titled Pulse: Book One.

Pulse, a high-tech company owned by a man of power, Alan Sharpe, is an enterprise whose activities have adverse effects on the environment and the people. Playing on the masses' oblivion, Alan Sharpe exploits this, wreaking havoc on the people and the environment. Anti-P, a secret organization set up by a few people who have had their fair share of the damage caused by Pulse, decided to stand and fight against the oppression. Do they have what it takes to put an end to Pulse? Or will Alan Sharpe get the victory in the end? If you would like to know the answers to these questions, you should pick up this book for a thorough and enjoyable reading session.

There is no doubt that this book is educational. Have you ever imagined what the world would look like in a few years, considering how rapidly technological innovations are being developed and introduced to the general public? Do these improvements do more harm than good if we were to consider all the factors involved? This book serves as an eye-opener to what most are ignorant about.

Despite several awareness programs on environmental degradation by human activities, many people still live in ignorance, which makes them vulnerable to selfish companies that take advantage of them. I love that the writer used this book to educate readers on a real problem, creating more awareness that might just be a start to tackling this problem. I love the writer's vivid descriptions of places and people. It was pretty fascinating how words could create such perfect scenes in the readers' minds. Effortlessly, the writer did justice to that. This kept my eyes glued to the book. I also love how the writer interchanged past and present events without causing any form of confusion while reading. The book also teaches specific core values, such as determination, courage, and persistence.

I found this book enjoyable and stress-free due to its professional editing. I found no grammatical or typographical errors. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I also found nothing to dislike about this book.

I recommend this book to lovers of nature and anyone who would love to learn about ecological damage and its effects.
