Review of Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat
When an unplanned event occurs, a group of animals has to solve this mystery and take care of things. This children's book features action, friendship, investigation, and crime. Grab a copy of this book to join Inca and her friends on this adventure.
Inca and her siblings are excited about the planned trip to Sri Lanka with their human mum. They had the best time of their lives, especially at the beach. Then, their mom read about a theft in a local newspaper, and Inca also heard about it. The thieves had stolen an antique sword and some gold coins from the island’s museum in Colombo. To investigate this, Terrance and Solo, his master and detective, come to Sri Lanka and later go to the museum. Inca gathers the available team members, including Rani the turtle and Meena the elephant, the new friends they have made, and they set out to discover these missing objects. Were they successful? What hurdles would they encounter? Read this book to find out.
Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is a fictional book by R. F. Kristi. It was written like a memoir, just as its title says. Inca, the main character, tells the story of her and her detective friends. They got to know about a criminal case and helped solve it. The book contains adventure, leisure, action, and an unforgettable story. The targeted audience would remember the moral lessons for a long time.
The book included beautiful and colourful illustrations that were inviting. The author wrote the book so that the audience could easily read and understand it. Although it is a children’s book, the author made the book sound very real. For example, Inca’s mum could not understand Terrance. She only heard animal sounds while the animals understood him. I loved the cooperation between the animals. I also admired the love between Inca and her siblings. It teaches children to be cooperative and loving.
The only fault I see in this book is that the author included some complex words, which would make children need help in understanding. It prevents the book from being a self-read for the intended audience. Apart from this, there was nothing else I disliked about this book, and this is not enough to reduce a star from this book's rating. Therefore, I rate this book four out of four stars. It was also professionally edited, as I noticed only a few errors.
I recommend this book to children aged five and above. Adults could also read it to children below that age. Lovers of adventure and a light read are also welcome to read it.
