Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure by Sylvie Beljanski is a non-fiction medical book on modern cancer treatment and a guide to a healthy way of living in today's world.

The ten-chapter book explores the story of Sylvie Beljanski, a young lady filled with experiences in her mind. These experiences came from the point of neglect due to her parent's love for science and discovery. Eventually, she grew up and realized life was worth more. She slowly realized her father's sacrifices in his scientific discoveries, the persecution, and the setbacks he faced. She became even more passionate, continued from where her father stopped and has gone farther to becoming a scientist like her father. But the government's regulation of science and pharmaceuticals will undoubtedly slow the progress of finding a cure for cancer and other diseases like infertility and HIV/AIDS if care is not taken. Are there non-toxic solutions to curing cancer and these other diseases? Are there destabilized cells in our bodies that will mutate if not adequately given medical attention? Read this book to learn more.

Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure is an educative book full of priceless information. There were citations about natural alternative treatments that I had never heard of anywhere before. This book has a fantastic ability to save humanity if these discoveries are heeded. Also, the book was entertaining all the way. This book shows the selfish interest of big pharmaceutical companies, the author's perspective on traditional and alternative methods of curing diseases, the love for her dad, which led to the many tributes, and the creation of the Beljanski Foundation. I also found it amazing that many research works were cited, and clear images were attached. These made it a concise work full of facts as invaluable information for physicians to treat degenerative illnesses was made available.

I learned that there are weird financial interests in the medical world that will lead to frustrating the process of discovery, leading to more loss of lives. I also realized untapped knowledge in many medicinal plants we ignore that can cure many chronic illnesses. Page 22 remains my favorite, as it outlines the impacts of cancer stem cells. I understood that persistent chemotherapy has its side effects, and there are drugs for cancer that are so toxic that they cannot be taken for a long time. This made me understand that there's hope for survival on the way for cancer patients. I also understood the importance of combining the holistic and synthetic approaches in treating degenerating illnesses. I understood the importance of a unified health system in today's world.

This book was exceptionally edited, as I observed no error in it. There is nothing I dislike in the book.

Therefore, I rate Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to scientists, patients, students, and people dedicated to fighting cancer and other chronic illnesses. Also, readers who want to manage their health and general well-being will love the book.

I currently reading this book and lo! I haven't been disgusted by the Big Pharma like this book did portray. It's greed that much valuable than human life. The French authorities did Mirko Beljanski dirty. This a nice review.
