As humans, we are far from perfect and prone to mistakes. Children are also imperfect. Nika Loves The Beach by Veronika Lily is a book of adventure and forgiveness.

Nika and her brother, Geno, were getting prepared to enjoy a day out at the beach. However, Geno tripped on the sidewalk unexpectedly. The sandwiches he had packed flew out of the bag and splattered on the road. Geno was very disappointed. However, his sister's kind words soothed him. Geno, Nika, and the stuffed animals were soon at the beach. They were ready to enjoy an adventurous and interesting day. However, other mishaps were about to happen.

This children's book of 33 pages was excellently developed. I enjoyed the story and the valuable lessons in it. Nika's endearing and accommodating attitude is heartwarming. She was quick to offer comfort and help her brother fix his wrongs when possible.

I love the beautiful illustrations in the book. They were colorful and expressive high-resolution images. The clarity of the pictures made the beach and its lovely waters vivid. Nika's stuffed animals were also beautifully portrayed. I enjoyed flipping through the many pictures in the book.

My favorite part of this book was Nika's calm reaction when Geno mistakenly stomped on a little girl's sandcastle. Although she had no hand in the damage, she readily helped Geno build a bigger and better castle for the little girl.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was exceptionally well edited. I have no dislikes about it. It contains important lessons on forgiveness and overlooking the mistakes of others. It also highlights practical ways to show kindness to others. Children between the ages of 3 to 7 years of age will find this book interesting. They can learn how to be a source of comfort and support to others.

The soul and mind of children are as pure as the rainbow; perhaps some adults would find it worth the while learning from them.
A good review, Thanks.

It's important to teach children that mishaps could happen and that we should try to be calm when facing them. Great review.
