Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a delightful read. The author is the son of a widow who dedicated her life to making her child's life better. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in Algeria's northeast region. He was born when Algeria had been divided into three departments. Algiers, Oran, and Constantine are the departments in question. He provides an overview of the political situation during that period of time. He claims to have been born during the French colonization of Algeria, as well as other African countries. In addition, he gives a detailed account of his family. He states in the book that he was born into a humble but powerful and proud family.
It is a beautifully crafted book with vividly written content. It's a well-organized book with straightforward language. My favorite feature of the book was how simple it was to read. This was accomplished through the use of clear language and the design of the book. I noticed that the paragraphs in the story are well formatted and well-written. I could read every single word and sentence. The order of the book corresponds to the author's life events.
Another feature I enjoyed was how the book's ideas were clearly expressed. A detailed explanation of the author's background, for example, is characterized by a number of themes at the beginning of the book. Themes include family, culture, parenthood, brotherhood, conflicts, and colonization. The plot was exciting, fluid, and expertly written. I was able to interact with the story's characters. I could envision most of them in my mind because of how well the author built them. There are photos in the book that the author credits.
Despite the fact that it is a memoir, I found it to be a beneficial book from which I could learn. It is a substantial book with around 640 pages and seventeen chapters. There is a thorough prologue that gives a detailed insight into the book at the beginning, in addition to the narration in the book's chapters. The images in the book drew me in and provided further details about the events and places recounted in the book.
This book was perfect, and there was nothing to dislike about it. The cover was attractive and well-crafted. The book was also meticulously edited. It also had a satisfying ending, which I appreciated. I gave the book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars because of its enticing aspects. It was an excellent book with many intriguing themes. It will appeal to fans of autobiographical books. I hope they appreciate and learn from the book as much as I did.
