A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a memoir about Ghoulem's life. I found the book very interesting because it had some sort of inspiration for the readers. We read about the good things the author did for the community. It was quite an inspirational book to read because in some cases I got to learn that as a person, it is good to give. This is all about how Ghoulem was a good person to the community and how he was a respected being. I think he was a good person who was all about doing good for others. Unfortunately, good people always go through the worst, he had to grow up witnessing colonization. He was born and raised in Africa, Algeria, and was also part of the people who were against colonialism and racism.

What I loved about the book is the fact that the author shared the behind-the-scenes of being a giver. Like he had a lot of titles to his name, he was a donator, activist, and more. What I love is that regardless of what he went through, he was always strong. I love that I got to learn multiple lessons like how to love, be persistent, humble, and have more qualities throughout your hardships. I feel that more books like this should be written so we know more about the history of people. I mean information like this is important and all the people who played a role in going against colonialism need to be celebrated because some countries wouldn't be free without them.

There wasn't anything I found annoying or bad about the book. The book was really not a bad book at all. I enjoyed reading this book and the experience that came with it.

I will therefore rate this book 4 out of 4 for the best experience I had from reading this book. I will give this rating because I think the book was well edited and it was easy to read. This book deserved this rating.

I will recommend this book to people interested in knowing more about the history and how people in Africa lived. I feel Africans have been through the most and I feel this gives us the platform to just talk more about the experience and let people and future generations know how the past was. I love people who stand up for what is right and act upon it.
