I've been here about a week and right where there should be books to review there's just a test book review by Mr. Test. It says my wait for regular books reviews is 7.8 days. Is that there for all new people or is that my average wait for a book review to come because I only have 1 point? I read that test review I'm not supposed to do so I know that isn't one. It has been up about 7 days today. And I don't know how long the .8 is. If you could please explain this to me it will help.

There might not be any books available for your ranking. Also, you've only made 8 posts in the forums... You should try making more posts. That really increases your chances of leveling up and then getting access to more books.

The wait time is not how long you have to wait from joining until you have a book available. That wouldn't really help achieve anything.

The wait time is the amount of time goes by before a new review opportunity is shown to you. That means it is the amount of time a different reviewer with a lesser wait time could pick a review opportunity before you will see it.

You can reduce the wait time by increasing your reviewer score a little bit. The best way to do that as a new member is to join discussions throughout the forums and make quality contributions to those discussions, especially in the book of the month forums. The idea is that a review from you will be more valuable if the community knows you a little better and has some trust in your judgement.
