Some kittens, a dog, and a hamster were on a plane heading to South Korea. Inca was their leader. They were no ordinary pets because, underneath all their fuzzy coats, they had the hearts of detectives. They were investigators who played by their own rules and did all they could to save the day. They met Enzon on this trip. Enzo was their owner’s arch nemesis, and they would do anything to protect their owner’s new cheese from his sneaky little hands. Will they successfully stop Enzo from destroying their owner’s reputation by sabotaging the unveiling of the precious cheese? And what is this I hear about a plot to sneak into North Korea? Why would they want to do that?

I recommend Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula to mystery lovers. The fact that Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula has animal protagonists instead of human protagonists does not undermine how interesting and valuable this book is. If you love a good mystery story, please read Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula.

You may wonder why I recommend this book before mentioning my likes and dislikes. I just wanted to get that off my mind so that you would know what I think of the book before you go deep into my review. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a beautiful and exciting novel.

Another thing I appreciate R.F. Kristi for is her willingness to touch on the subject of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. Even though she did not extensively touch on this subject, I learned a bit about it from this book. This is the first time I have heard about that, which made me extensively research the subject. It might look like something small, but I am glad R.F. Kristi talked about the things she mentioned about South and North Korea in Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula gave me many things. It gave me an interesting story and provided beautiful illustrations. It also taught me a fair bit about Korea. The teachings about Korea are my favorite thing in the book, and I like that the most.

The tone of this book is simple and conversational. Reading it felt like I was listening to a friend recount their experiences and adventures in the Korean peninsula. This is one of the things I liked about Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. It also carved my love for it in stone.

There were a few misspelled words in Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. This means that Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was edited professionally. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a mystery book that not only thrills the mind but also educates it. I have no dislike for anything in it. On that note, I have decided to rate it four out of four stars. The rationale for rating it this high is that I did not see anything to hate or dislike about it.
