Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Inca and her crew reflected: who could have taken mom's cheese bag? It all began after their mom was invited to be one of the judges of a renowned cooking event that happened in Korea. This was also an opportunity to show the world her new special cheese, mom thought, but then a fellow jealous judge, Enzo, stole this cheese at the airport. With the tension growing, Inca, Terrance, and the rest of the crew needed to find a way to nab Enzo, who denied knowing anything about the cheese. Inca won't just stop at finding Missy's cheese; she also has to reunite their tour guide and his sister after she learns what happened to them. Will they do what they are best known for?
The book was written from Inca's point of view, helping children understand they were reading from her diary. The vocabulary used in this book is modest, making it very easy for children to comprehend. I love how the author illustrated the love between the dog and cat, thus going against the law of nature. This shows that peace can exist even among two people who can't live together. The pictures in the book were so good that my cousins couldn't stop staring.
It was very difficult to come across anything to sabotage my love for this book. I'm rating it a 4 out of 4, considering that I didn't dislike anything. The author highlighted a lot of positive energy for children. This book will teach you to be brave, kind, strong, and, above all, intelligent. I can't see myself not recommending this book to kids I love. This is a good read for children and those who love reading children's books.
My most likeable character was Terrance. He was always supportive of Inca. I expected he would get jealous at some point, but he didn't, which was another good lesson for kids.
R. F. Kristi's Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book that will stand the test of time. The book is very brief. It is the eighth book in this series. The book was exceptionally edited.

It is great that children will learn alit of morals from this book. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is action filled and has that potential that catch the attention of the readers right from the cover of the book. I enjoyed reading this review.
