Most people do not take time to think about their future while they are still young. They later realize the mistake they have made while facing the consequences. It is great to be financially educated to deal with this wisely. It is, however, unfortunate that this is not taught in schools. Reading Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a great way of acquiring financial literacy.

E. Alan Fleischauer discusses a lot in his book. Reconfigurement is a financial self-help book and also a motivational book. It offers tips on how to find oneself, vocation choices, relationships, and interaction with others. The book, however, majorly focuses on retirement. The author points out that some people retire at the age of 65 and end up being broke after retirement. This is due to a lack of proper planning. E. Alan Fleischauer writes this book to address this issue. He says that financial planning can be done at any age. Early retirement planning should be done to avoid cases like this. He offers essential retirement strategies to tackle this issue.

Many times, financial help books offer long and boring conversations, making reading tedious. This is not the case while reading this book. The author makes the book humorous by including jokes in this book. It is also a short book that can be read in one sitting. The conversational tone of the author makes the book relatable and easier to read. The examples given in the book also made it easier to relate to the issues that are being discussed.

While going through this book, I found several finance-related terms. These terms were later explained by the author and they became a great learning source for me. I love the fact that the author talks about the importance of insurance policies. Many people ignore this and end up regretting their decisions. The assessment tests in the book helped me to know what steps to take. I believe it's not too early to start a retirement plan. I did not encounter any negative aspects while reading this book.

I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 4 stars. This is a book that will help a lot of people to begin thinking about their future. I did not spot any grammatical errors while reading the book, indicating that it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to everyone conscious of their financial wellness. This book will help in making many decisions. Those who are working hard to save their income should also read this book.
