The Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull

I recently just finished the fourth book in the Fablehaven series. The books in order are:
Book 1- Fablehaven
Book 2- Fablehaven: Rise of the Evening Star
Book 3- Fablehaven: Grip of the Shadow Plague
Book 4- Fablehaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary
Book 5- Falehaven: Keys to the Demon Prison

This series, in my opinion, is phenomenal. I can say personally this is a 5 out 5 stars series. Fablehaven is considered to be a middle grade series, but due to the sophistication and intricate details/writing, anyone of any age would thoroughly enjoy these books. The series introduces two young heroes as the main characters. kendra and Seth are two siblings with a sense of adventure. Kendra is more of a mature, responsible and reserved adventurist. Seth is the opposite, he loves taking risks and he tends to get him and his family in trouble, but he has amazing courage as well that comes in handy throughout the series. The story starts out with Kendra and Seth not having any knowledge of the magical world...They end up at their grandparents home...They encounter peculiar events/creatures. When they become aware of the magical world, events ensue that sends them into a spiral of intense high fantasy, with epic battles, surprisingly intricate twists and turns that leave you gripping the edge of your seat. As each book unfolds, the story becomes increasingly intense, with each book better than the last. Kendra and Seth are not only up against dark creatures threatening to wreak havoc on their home and the world but, they also have an evil secret society rising to power and unexpected enemies around every corner. I definitely recommend these books to anyone who enjoys fantasy novels, especially series/books that revolve around young heroins/heroes.
