Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is about reconfiguring one's life. Lessons and subjects that are not taught at school. Everything that discusses money, career, and retirement. To avoid living a life we regret. It acts as a life adviser by getting you back on track.

As an educator, financial literacy and the need of putting financial independence first were some of the issues we covered. I do know some things about investing, insurance, budgeting, retirement, and saving. However, it's just an overview of those topics. That is why I chose to read this book.

Reconfigurement is very informative and eye-opening. The order of chapters is a step-by-step process that anyone who wants to try to reconfigure life may follow, as well as the provided links that the readers can access. Stories as examples are beneficial for understanding each concept. I appreciate the jokes as images. It shifts the eye in looking at new things since each page is full of text. Also, the author sounds so approachable. I like reading books from a 2nd person's point of view. This book is good.

Nevertheless, the only thing I do not like about this book is the jargon. There are still words that are confusing for me. These are excellent for readers who have the time to search for and learn unfamiliar words from the book. I am aware that the author may not clarify every term because it might take more pages. My suggestion is to put a glossary for easy identification of words.

Overall, Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a good read. I had a hard time looking for spelling and grammar errors. This book's editing was superb because it contains no errors of any kind.

My score for this book is 4 out of 4 stars. I cannot think of other things for not giving four stars. Per my likes and dislikes, the positive is more than the negative aspect. I enjoyed this book with the stories, jokes, and all the informative topics I learned.

This book is for ages 40 to 50, but I highly recommend this to young adults like me. Generations now do not want to settle for a career they do not enjoy. So, why wait until you are in your 40s? They will benefit from this book by planning and preparing for their retirement.
