We all have our aspirations and dreams about our future life, the kind of life we want to live, travel destinations, projects to accomplish, health covers we want to have, and the extra fun activities we want to take part in. For the intended objectives to be achieved, money plays a major role. Sadly, only a few of us end up achieving our dreams. The rest don't go far due to financial problems because they are not well informed about financial planning. Fleischauer has done an amazing job in writing Reconfigurement. The book is about financial planning and how to go about it. The author has talked about several vital issues, which include saving for retirement and life protection. This book is a lifesaver because it's enriched with financial knowledge that can salvage an entire generation that's about to make wrong decisions on financial planning and saving.

Before reading Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer, I wasn't sure if my expectations would be met. I'm glad the book turned out great. I liked the author's expertise in the financial field, which greatly impacted how he delivered financial knowledge to the readers. The book teaches us that retirement is different for every person, and we all react to it differently. So we should not stress out comparing ourselves to others because our incomes are different, and so will our retirement plans. Last but not least, I liked how the author tackled the possible questions that might come up and answered them in advance.

There's nothing I hated about the book because the author did a great job researching and putting this book together. One issue that I noted was how the chapters were presented. The author used only numbers to name and identify the chapters. The book would be more appealing if the author gave each chapter a title instead of just numbering it. This way, a reader can easily get information on a specific title. However, this did not deter me from enjoying the book.

I rate Reconfigurement 4 out of 4 stars because it is insightful and an eye-opener to many issues that affect us. Second, the in-between short stories make the book unique and interesting. Third, the author did an amazing job spicing the book up with jokes and puns. This made the book less boring. Fourth, the author included links where we can take our career aptitude assessment and work values test. This was so thoughtful of him because the information provided was useful. Last but not least, the book was well-edited, and I came across fewer than ten errors.

This book is suitable for readers who love reading financial books and want to learn more about financial planning.
