ARA Review by keymama29 of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

[i}In It Together[/i] is a book that will rock you to your core. I highlighted so many quotes and sentences ! More than I ever think I have in a book before. The Authors breakdown of "self" and "ego" was beautifully done. I also liked how religion, politics, and even our own beliefs per say was taken out of the conversation but nonetheless he used solid examples to show that we are more complex then we seem, and truth is simply what it is, Truth.

After spending chapters making the reader understand themselves in a new light and highlighting some of those complex truths we face, the author then provides solutions on how to free yourself at the end. Revealing the "True you" and living unashamed in that new found realization.

I also liked how the reading was complex in the sense you felt you could trust the author and his research, yet simple enough that you can easily understand the message coming across and how to apply it. The book was free from grammatical errors that would impact the flow of the book and it was greatly appreciated for a book of this caliber and material.

The last chapter titled " I love you" really did something to my spirit. It was felt on a deeper level although I have never met the author a day in my life. It was like going to therapy and then having the therapist give you a hug and tell you how confident they feel in your growth and that life will never be the same for you !.

I easily give this book a 5 out of 5 review. I have already talked about it with others and have shared what I've learned. For me, it's not one you pick up and just put down. I plan to come back to this book time and time again when I need a reminder that I have all the tools I need within me to weather the storms of life.
