Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a wonderful book that emphasizes the need to plan. Being a financial advisor with vast experience, the author addresses essential concerns such as career choices, life protection, employee benefits, retirement, and social security. Reconfigurement does not only help one to self-evaluate but also discover oneself. In the book, he provides some assessments, such as the career aptitude assessments, which will help the readers find a career they love and earn from. With generally longer lifespans, Alan helps readers develop concrete strategies to prepare for retirement. Having extensive experience in the financial advisory sector, the author provides the reader with specific guidelines and brilliant financial strategies to develop retirement plans.

I liked how precise and straightforward the author is. His vast knowledge and many years of experience in the finance industry made the book so informative. His writing skills are so good that it is as if he is engaging the reader in a direct conversation. He explains the strengths and weaknesses of investment options, social security, employee benefits, retirement, and life protection using simple terms. His in-depth research, timely knowledge, and explanations backed up with facts, figures and statistics were also commendable. I loved the author's sense of humor. The use of anecdotes also made the book more interesting. The references and websites provided in the book were also helpful. The book was not only educational but also fascinating. Moreover, I loved the book's flow, eloquent writing skills, and prolific vocabulary.

I disliked nothing about this book. On the contrary, I enjoyed every bit of it. This book was a complete game-changer for me. The book is straightforward and can be understood by anyone.

I did not find any typos or grammar errors, as the book was well-written and edited.

I am glad to rate this book 4 out 4 stars , as it is educational, inspiring, informative, and challenging. Reconfigurement will not only help the readers to evaluate self- but also provide them with brilliant guidelines and strategies to put in place while planning for retirement.

I recommend this book to anyone about to start their career or those who want to change their careers, as it will enable them to make wise and profitable decisions regarding their money. This book is worth reading even to young people as it will help them to self-evaluate even as they plan.
