Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a great book not only on retirement pre-planning but also how to pursue life goals. This book helps us open up our eyes for our future needs. Alan used his many years of experience and wisdoms to help the reader to better understand what awaits in future for them. Reconfigurement is a theme developed by Alan to help his readers to envision their future and how they can reconfigure their life to max out the available resources and/or opportunities as they come up. While addressing the much needed retirement plans for the would-be retiree he also discusses other topics such as income, personality traits, job satisfaction, social security, annuities, investing in bonds, bills, notes as well as so on.

In summery, this book is about planning ahead to live a lovely retirement time. Alan talks about the problems of aging and living long. Although living longer is always a great desire of human nature but it comes with a great risk too. Alan tried to bring those problem on the table and proposed solution to those as well. In this book Alan clarified some myths/misinformation that were there in the minds of many related to social security. The author proposed that we can reconfigure our life at any stage and by reconfiguring it we can overcome the hectic problems which may arise in future of our life. The profound knowledge of the author in the field of retirement planning takes his reader to travel in an unknown world to them with ease. Alan delivered his years earned acumen in a lucid manner that made me awestruck. I was stunned by the great story telling attitude of Alan, as I presumed that a book in financial matter would be a hard read.

In my point of view Reconfigurement brings a lot of positive energy to them whoever reads it. The things discussed in this book intermeshed with each other meticulously. The subtlety of describing topics in this book without bore the reader is one of the most positive features in my opinion. Anyone can get a hang of the hard financial terms or boring topics without being bored by reading this masterpiece. I would say the time and money invested in this book by anyone won’t be in vain. I am delighted to say that I loved the jokes author cracked in each chapter and those jokes were a great refresher for me.

There's not a single thing that I don’t like about Reconfigurement. The author made this book well versed with simple language and eloquent speech.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars I am not giving it a lower score because I believe the author succeeded in bringing about the things he supposed to in an entertaining way. Also this book is exceptionally well edited I found only one typo that is not worth mentioning here.

I recommend this book for everyone that is to say ranging from fresh graduate to already retired person as in the voice of author you can reconfigure your life at any stage or any point. I recommended this book for fresh graduate because they can find a multitude of topics that would resonate with them like career planning in second chapter and also plan ahead for how to be able to lead a retirement life with fun and without running out money.
