R.F. Kristi's Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the eighth book in The Inca Cat Detective Series. This series is about Inca, the detective cat who always tries to solve cases with the help of her friends. Inca's detective team includes Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo. Inca embarks on an exciting journey to South Korea with her friends and humanoids. They meet their tour guide Ye-Jun and Baram (The Korean Jindo puppy) in South Korea. Ji, Ye- Jun's sister, had not returned after visiting their relatives in North Korea with her cat Bo-Mi. They intended to rescue both during a cooking competition in the Korean Demilitarized Zone, a buffer zone between North and South Korea, in which Ji would compete on behalf of North Korea. Will they rescue Ji and Bo-Mi?

The story and illustrations were adorable and enjoyable to read. The story was simple to read, and the colourful illustrations brought the characters to life. Jorge Valle's illustrations are well suited to this series. The story was simple but page-turning, which was one of the book's main strengths. I've already finished the fifth book in this series. As a result, I am familiar with the characters and their personalities. I decided to read this because I enjoyed the previous book. And I can assure you that it exceeded my expectations. Even though this is the eighth book in the series, newcomers will have no trouble following the plot. The author provided a family tree at the beginning of the book to introduce the characters. The plot was neither rushed nor dragged. The various types of pets used by the author here provide the children with a profound insight. He used various cat and dog breeds, as well as a hamster. The author depicts a variety of lessons, including moral values and friendship. It also picturizes South Korea, which will be new to the children.

The book was well edited. There are no grammatical or spelling errors. However, I only found two instances of a space error. Instead, there are no negative aspects to this book.

I rated it 4 out of 4 stars. The book was simple enough for children to read. Despite the short storyline, it contains a wealth of knowledge that contributes to the book's overall positivity. As a result, I gave it full stars. I had no major issues with this book, so I did not lower my rating.

This book is ideal for kids who enjoy detective stories. The characters in the story will teach children a variety of lessons, including how to be brave and about different breeds of pets. It would be an exciting story to share with your children. They'd be enthralled because it's full of adventure and fun.

Despite being a children's book, it contains a few fact about Korean heritage and history that I found informative. After all, that's all we want from a children's book, colourful, interesting and still educational.
