Review of Reconfigurement
There may be that one time, while enjoying your holiday, you sat there on the couch and a random scenario popped into your mind, and you started to wonder. Perhaps you envision yourself retiring and are worried about what would happen to you and your family if you ever retire. Such thoughts might give us fear because of the uncertainties we have, but it's a good thing that there’s a book that could help us with our worries. The book written by E. Alan Fleischauer called Reconfigurement can give us appropriate knowledge about how we can avoid the crisis we might encounter if we reached retirement age. The book will help us plan ahead; it discusses the important benefits of social security, the importance of having savings and investments, and other things that are related to this matter.
Reconfigurement has thirteen amazing chapters that are very informative and entertaining to read. For starters, the author has strategically enticed his readers by asking what the plan should be. The author discusses the importance of setting out a good plan before approaching retirement age and how we can enjoy life without worrying too much about our future.
This subject is often viewed as something that is very difficult to comprehend; however, the author has explained everything in a very understandable manner. Because of his expertise in this field as a financial advisor, he knew how to make a difficult term understandable to most readers regardless of their age and status. The author includes studies and facts to support his claims, which makes his book even more credible. He also put some jokes in between discussions to keep his readers entertained. What I like most about this book, Reconfigurement, is that the author includes illustrations that make it even easier to visualize the things he wanted to convey to his audiences. Also, the short story about the wise man has really piqued my interest, and I cannot forget the moral lesson from that story. All references were cited accordingly. The transitions on every page are so smooth that it makes my reading more convenient; therefore, I have no negative thoughts about this book.
I am giving this book, Reconfigurement, a four out of four because this book is easy to comprehend and it has all the things we need to know if we want to enjoy life to the fullest. The book is very fun to read because of the author’s jokes and some short stories that will surely leave an impression on the readers. The editing team is also very commendable because the book is very neat and no errors were encountered at all.
It is my first time reading books that discuss handling finances, and I can honestly say that I have learned a lot of things. Through this book, I have acquired knowledge that can really help me make decisions. I will highly recommend this book to everyone, not just people who are in their 50s or 60s.
