Review of E M P Honeymoon
Honeymoons are opportunities for newlywed couples to bond and have time for each other. They maximize this opportunity to spend time with their partner, but in this fictional book, the opposite was the case. E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a fictional book that tells the story of a newlywed couple, Tom and Kelly, who traveled to Central America for their honeymoon. However, they met the unexpected, which seems to be a national issue.
Sergeant Tom and Kelly decided to spend their honeymoon in Honduras, Central America. During their honeymoon, Kelly thought it wise to get some gifts for her family. She went to a pigsty shop to buy some toys. To her utmost surprise, when she got there, she couldn't find anyone. Kelly then took a walk around the shop, hoping to find someone, only to discover that it was a laboratory for terrorists who were planning an attack on North America. While panicking, she called her brother, Senator Mike, to narrate the story of what she saw at the gift shop. They would have to form a team to fight against these terrorists, who plan on using electromagnetic pulses to attack North America. Grab a copy of this book to find out how events turned out.
There were many positive aspects to this book. Dorothy May Mercer is a creative writer. She wrote this book to enlighten readers on how to use modern technology to fight against terrorism and other forms of terrorist attacks. This is an educational book that contains a lot of information about how to fight terrorism. I enjoyed the storyline of this book. One wouldn't have thought of a newlywed couple on their honeymoon having to fight against terrorist attacks. I love the author's narrative style and character development. The characters in this thriller were well developed. My favorite character is Kelly. She was smart enough to inform the CIA of the planned terrorist attack. McBride security agents were also diligent in carrying out their duties. Jung Lo is another character I really admire. The book explores themes of romance, bravery, love, terror, and teamwork. I also learned about the electromagnetic pulse.
This is a fast-paced novel. I must appreciate the author's efforts in writing this book. However, I disliked a few things in this book. The cover page didn't really do justice to the content of the book. Aside from this, I like every part of the book. I didn't come across any grammatical errors in the book. This shows it was exceptionally well-edited.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I gave it a perfect rating because of the positive aspects of this book. I recommend this book to lovers of fiction.
