Kay starts the story with the sudden disappearance of Selene and Seti. As the story progresses, Dr. Kaili discovers the presence of spirits in her laboratory. Dr. Kaili Worthy is an archeologist, while her husband Derek is a police officer. She later learns that the spirits are Seti and Selena and that this has been happening since someone dug up their tombs. These spirits want to communicate with her, but they are having a hard time since Kaili and the spirits do not understand each other.

She makes it her mission to teach the spirits how to communicate with her, and she is successful. She seeks help from Dr. Doris Wolf after she has communicated with the spirits, and this takes them on a journey to find answers. Travel with them as they unravel the mysteries.

The title of this book is catchy just from reading it. Dive in; you will not be disappointed by the story either. The story flows wonderfully right from the beginning; it has been developed well to keep the reader from losing focus and to continue perusing the pages. So if you've got something pressing to be done, you will have to hold it first.

I loved how the scenes have been described to give the reader a clear picture of what is happening in the book. starting with Dr. Kaili's work in the lab is just spectacular. The characters are also interesting, and they go well with the plot.

The chapters are short, and they also have alternating points of view. One can easily note or tell the difference from the narration, apart from the author stating it clearly on the chapter's topic.

The Voice Of a Mummy by Kay A. Oliver gives or passes a message to couples on how they should be. I loved the marriage that Dr. Kaili and her husband had. They were so supportive of each other; they worked together and had each other's backs no matter what. Also, we get to learn about the Egyptians and their culture without having to leave archeology.

Kay has done her research well and has good knowledge about the places she is narrating. I am fascinated by learning something new every day, and the book has been exceptionally edited. I rate it four stars out of four stars because I liked and enjoyed reading it.

I recommend it to history students and all those who love learning about history and new adventures. This book will be worth your time.
