A groundbreaking discovery, a little man's battle with bureaucracy and greedy big pharma companies, and much more are all covered by the striking title Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure. This is the tale of her father, Mirko Beljanski, PhD, as told through the eyes of Sylvie Beljanski. This eminent biologist and biochemist from France with Serbian ancestry was a member of the prestigious Pasteur Institute in Paris.

The author's father's brilliant career will be ruined by the desire of every medical professional to aid those in need and promote healing. At the center of the ground-breaking therapy for various cancers are the Amazonian Pao pereira tree and Rauwolfia vomitoria, which is derived from the bark of the African root. Despite being gravely ill with cancer, these amazing plants enabled French President Mitterrand to finish his second term. The eminent scholar with a Sorbonne PhD in molecular biology experienced persecution rather than recognition. Sylvie Beljanski, his daughter, will work to recover his good name and help millions of sufferers.

I particularly appreciate how open the author is in the book while discussing her father's scientific accomplishments. Readers are offered the titles of more than a hundred scientific publications authored or co-authored by Mirko Beljanski. The book's encouragement of a holistic and all-encompassing strategy for wellness that relies heavily on avoiding toxins is something I find appealing. The book also lists ten film titles that deal with Mirko Beljanski's legacy and the significance of detoxification. However, what I liked most about the book was the fine-tuned balance between professional medical terms and an easy-to-understand writing style. This balance offers a book that is simple to understand for everyone, regardless of prior expertise. Despite a few minor typos and errors, I ultimately felt that the book had been professionally edited.

I would like the book to include some of the evidence that would support the persecution of Mirko Beljanski because that is something that I feel is missing. Naturally, given the book's emphasis on using non-invasive techniques to defeat cancer, even this minor flaw is entirely acceptable.

It was easy to determine how to rate the book. The book's immediacy, honesty, and the struggle for greater goals grabbed me from the very first pages, as did the author. This is the exact reason I ultimately decided to rate the book five out of five stars.

I especially recommend the book to people suffering from various types of cancer and to the families of those suffering from the scourge of modern humanity. In addition, I recommend the book to readers of medical and related professions because I believe that it will help them to complete their knowledge and broaden their horizons.

How would it benefit the pharmaceutical companies if this was cured?

The cover illustration of this novel Winning the war on cancer is sort of what got to me first. I would love to know the author's idea considering cancer and treatment.

Scourge of modern humanity, something seen everyday.😔 I like the author's attempt to tell the tale, it sounds like a plot from a television tale but it's not. Good job on a well written review Lecdeliv!

Personally, I think that the big pharmaceutical companies would only have a huge financial loss from the natural anti-cancer extract.

I also thought of that for the television story. I believe that an excellent action film could be made from the author's story because the topic is unusual and interesting. I'm glad you liked my review.

This book caught my eye, and I have considered reading it. Thank you for the great review! I hope that some day the medical industry is able to acknowledge strength in traditional medicine AND holistic medicine. Both can be valuable.

I recommend that you read the book because it is full of data and conclusions obtained by scientific methods. As far as I could see, it is not so unknown in scientific circles, but influential organizations and individuals decided to simply ignore Mirko Beljanski's discoveries. I'm glad you liked my review and thank you for your comment.
