Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis is a handbook tackling everything about golf. The author is a former successful golf student and presently a golf coach. She uses this book to share her journey in this game and gives hints about success based on her experience.

First, the book introduces readers to the connection between the mind and golf. For golfers to play better, they need to be positive-minded because change begins and lasts with how they think. The author continues by suggesting NPL as the ultimate tool for golf, explaining the reasons in detail. Furthermore, the author teaches the basics to remember in golf and the formula for practicing. She tackles everything, including how to hold and aim the club, body alignment and swinging, and strategies to observe, such as angle of approach, wind, and hazards. Ultimately, the author advises her audience to reflect on each golf shot and determine its positive aspect.

I liked the book's fluency. The author has an excellent command of English, and her vocabulary is simple and, thus, easily readable. Although this book talks about golf, I discovered it goes beyond that by including other valuable aspects such as creative thinking, a positive mindset, and using today's failures to perfect tomorrow. Those aspects will lead readers, whether golfers or not, to self-realization and to creating a meaningful life. Another likable feature of Kalliope's book is how detailed it is. The author dug deep into her topics, pouring out much information that golfers must be aware of. I also liked how she organized her book: she starts by digging out the weed in the readers' mindset and then takes them out for golf training, elaborating deeply on how to hold a club and other things required.

Moreover, I appreciate the author for using real-life examples to emphasize her topics. For example, she gives herself an example of how anyone can become an excellent golfer from nothing. She also gives the story of her client, who stunned the doctors because she changed her mindset. Those examples will give hope and encouragement to readers, thus making the book more influential. Also, I applaud Barlis for the golfing procedures and rules illustrated in her book. The pictures create mental visuals that help golfers memorize the steps while in action. They also make the training look so simple.

I did not dislike anything in this fantastic book. It was flawless, and its editors did an exceptional job. Therefore, I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book to golf beginners. This book will help them turn into professionals in the game.
