Review of Terms of Service
It's the future and AI has become a real thing. People now have access to devices that can perform amazing functions. From virtual reality to robotic appliances. Kim had always been a model citizen. She kept her head down and performed her duties diligently so that she could stack up enough points. These points would enable her to live a more comfortable life and even move to a more comfortable apartment. Kim didn't want any trouble and would never do anything that would attract unwanted attention. Kim had always been fascinated by AI and wanted the opportunity to work with them. Unfortunately for her, she worked with low-grade AI instead, and this made her feel unfulfilled. Things take a turn when Kim's friend comes to visit, and they get in a bit of trouble. Kim's life is automatically turned upside down. She discovers some terrible secrets about the AI. Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill tells us how Kim faces all her problems and how she deals with the new information she's learned. In a world where everything is run by artificial intelligence, it's difficult to get away with things. Any deviance from normal behavior is easily detected and punished. Kim must find a way to liberate herself and fight for her freedom.
What I loved most about the book was the author's ability to transport us into a whole new world filled with robots and AI. The author used his creative mind to picture what the earth would like later in the future. I loved the tone of the book. Although everyone seemed happy on the surface, they were all just struggling to keep up with the rules so as not to be punished. I was able to connect with the main character, and I was moved by her story. She struggled with some demons, which went away temporarily when she drank. The things she struggled with made her so much more relatable. I loved that we were able to go on such a beautiful journey with the main character and see different sides of her. We were able to see her happy, sad, and sometimes angry.
I loved how witty and intelligent the main character was. She was wise enough to keep her head down, but also curious enough to want to know more about the shady things that were going on. I loved the development of the character. I loved how she was able to overcome her fear and fight for what she truly believed in. This book was very intriguing. I absolutely loved the plot of the book. I loved the author's use of humor to make the book more interesting. I loved all the beautiful memories she created with her friends. I loved that she discovered new things about herself. One instance was when she met someone named Mica. She decided to go into the privacy booth with Mica, but then discovered that Mica was an "outie". This made her lose interest and question whether she was only attracted to one type of gender. This instance and many more made Kim know more about herself.
I disliked nothing about this book. I found the plot very thrilling and captivating. Therefore, I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The author did an incredible job. I found no grammatical errors while reading this book. I found the main character very inspiring. I loved the fact that she was very intelligent, and she was able to learn from her mistakes.
I will recommend this book to mature audiences who are interested in themes like romance, action, and science fiction. This will make an interesting read for those interested in books that contain robots. I will also recommend it to individuals who love books that contain suspense and mystery.
