An artificial intelligence surveillance state is the setting of Craig W. Stanfill's science fiction book Terms of Service. An AI trainer named Kim is the subject of the show. Kim is an intelligent automaton trainer who works for an AI firm. A dystopian society serves as the plot's main setting. Everything appears to be based on a specific system and how it controls a population of people.

In his science fiction novel, Craig imagines a society where AIs and people coexist. Kim was taken from her birth mother at the age of four, much like other humans. She was forced to believe and lead a life she didn't desire as a result of her unsuccessful attempt at moderation. After an unfortunate mishap, Kim's orderly life spins out of control, causing her to learn facts that could endanger the corrupt institutions of society and upend her way of life. The painful truth that everything was done to maintain control hit her just as everything was beginning to seem like a dream. She now decides to break out, but will she be successful?

One aspect of this book that I appreciate is its distinctive style. The author's language is fascinating, and readers would be astounded by his use of futuristic concepts and terminology. Readers will be astounded by the gender neutrality in this book, where everyone is depicted as female and addressed as "she," everyone wears beige clothing, and self-identification is made in the plural.

The book's ability to make you identify with the main character and her fight with the culture she lives in is what I found to be most endearing about it. I appreciate how the author was able to depict an evolved society while still taking some aspects of daily life into account.

I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars because I found no negative aspects to it. The book addresses drugs and illicit relationships but only occasionally uses vulgar language. The penmanship was amazing, the plot was intriguing and there were no errors whatsoever. Evidently, it was exceptionally well edited.

People who like science fiction or any other kind of fiction are my recommended audience for this book. It serves as a reminder of the value we place on our independence and individuality. There are a couple brief sexual encounters in this novel, although they are not particularly detailed. The book makes you eagerly anticipate the sequel, in which Kim will undoubtedly free her civilization from AI rule.
