Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer
It is common knowledge that people have been living longer or projected to live longer in recent times. This spike in life expectancy means that the pension plans that sufficed for the past generations are not going to provide a wide enough safety net that will adequately cover the more recent generations. In Reconfigurement, the author, E. Alan Fleischauer, pinpointed this trend to be the major source of retirement dilemma after his over twenty years of experience as a financial and retirement plan expert.

Thus, the Reconfigurement Financial Plan arose to defuse this ticking time bomb. The Reconfigurement Financial Plan is an initiative by the author whose primary objective is to turn around an individual's life by helping them lay out plans and guide them to make the right critical decisions either for their career or for their retirement. The Reconfigurement Financial Plan integrates many critical factors that can affect the average person's retirement decisions such as income protection plans, insurance, investment, Social Security, etc.

I fell in love with the writer's writing style from the onset. His cognizance that the topics he discussed are going to be so technical that readers might lose interest is commendable, as that led him to use humorous and encouraging language throughout the book to enrapture the readers' attention. His messages are succinctly conveyed and can easily be understood by anyone with shallow knowledge of the financial world. The career assessment tests are also a great addition to this book. I took some of them, and I was very impressed with the accuracy of the results and recommendations it proffered.

I found absolutely nothing that I disliked about this book. The book is excellently edited, as I found no spelling or grammatical errors. For the book's relevance in modern-day society, eye-opening messages, well-thought-out career assessment tests, and the author's amiable writing style, I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

As this book is more inclined toward the American economic climate, it is highly recommended to Americans who are either contemplating retirement or going to, in the near or distant future. Non-Americans on their road to retirement will also find this book a handy guide to the subject. The technicality of the topics discussed also means that this book will prove valuable to experts in the financial world.

I saw this book many times, and when I found it was mainly financial, I lost interest in reading it, as I find the subject uninteresting. After reading your description, it's definitely on my to-read list. I liked how the author used humour to lighten the subject. Thanks for the great review.
