Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book about retirement and financial planning. The financial industry concentrates on encouraging people to work hard, invest and save as much as they can. The author uses the book to address the difference between reality and tradition in matters of retirement planning. The author talks about examining your life at any stage to enable planning ahead. Planning ahead is necessary since the traditional approach that is number-oriented is becoming unreliable due to many Americans living longer. In planning, income is paramount since planning would be difficult without it. In planning for retirement, you have to have a strategy that you follow, but many people wait until they retire to start thinking about retirement. The author provides some insights about retirement planning that people may use. He mentions the importance of life protection in financial planning. He provides insights on social security, investing, and retirement plans.
The author provides links that have more information about retirement and financial planning. The links help the reader to look for more information on retirement and also help to trust the information since it shows he has done a lot of research on retirement planning. The author also provided books where the reader can read more information on financial and retirement planning. The book was educative to readers on matters of financial planning. The author shows readers how they can start planning for their retirement by developing strategies that they will follow to plan. He criticized the traditional planning method and provided an alternative that readers may use.
I have nothing negative to say about the book. It was educative, and the author presented the book well by discussing each strategy in a specific chapter. He used simple language and used examples to make readers understand what he was talking about better.
I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer five out of five stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited since I found no errors. The information it contained was educative and helpful to many Americans who still don't have an idea about financial and retirement planning. The author provided strategies that they can use to ensure they do it effectively. He provided sources for those interested in reading more information on financial and retirement planning. With the book being this great, deducting a star would be unfair; hence, the rating.
I recommend this book to Americans interested in learning effective strategies for financial and retirement planning. The book talks about strategies that best suites the current state of Americans living longer than before.
