Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children's within the famous series: The Inca Cat Detectives Series. The stories revolve around unveiling a mystery of animal relations and detective investigations. Missy, the cats' human mother, was invited to attend the chefs' context in South Korea as a judge for the much anticipated Le Cordon Bleus competition between the North and South Korean chefs. The Siberian kitty, Inca, was to accompany Missy on her travel. Afterward, Missy was to show off her Crème de la Crème cheese. What was the baseline of the competition between the chefs? Deliciousness? Or how odorous the meals were? In South Korea, the cat family befriended the Korean dog, Terrance, who was in the company of his human master, Solo. The events took a turn bringing about unexpected encounters. What awaits next? Dangers? Misfortunes? Family reunion? Peace? Harmony? Will they cross borders to their next zone? Here comes the greatest of the mysteries. Look into it.

The book is fancy and worth giving a read. First, the author is creative in devising plots, mainly where cats and dogs were taking interactive characters of humans, keeping the company of their human masters and mistress: Solo and Missy, respectively. Secondly, as part of the description, the author has included graphics and illustrations to help children understand and catch up with a lot of ease. Thirdly, the book is educational to children since it opens their minds to vices to despise in life: pride and the virtues to incorporate: creativity, resilience, and determination. Fourthly, the conversations involving the super cat detective, Inca, provoke a sense of humor, mainly on how courageous, curious, and prideful Inca was.

I did not find any negative aspects to report about this book.

I rate this book five out of five stars. The book's editing is exceptional. Moreover, the storyline of the investigation, detective moves, and interactions are compelling and captivating.

I recommend this book to children who keep cats and dogs as their pets. The narrations of the furry cat family and the dog detectives will promote deep love in children for these pet animals.
