Review of Reconfigurement
What retirement-related plans do you currently have? Have you made financial plans for the years when you won't be compensated for the work you do now? Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book you should read to find out what the likely result for you would be in those years. The nonfiction book was written by the author after years of working with clients and learning about finance.
This book contains advice on how readers can make plans for the future at every stage of their life. The author begins the narrative by outlining his broad views on American finance and the necessity of having arrangements for working in retirement. According to research, 40% of Americans do not have $400 set aside for emergencies. Fast forward, the author suggests additional essentials that are required for reconfiguration, but income is the primary one. For someone to have a good retirement life, having money is crucial. Reading this excellent book will teach you more about life insurance, online retirement planning tools, job assessments, investment options, and other subjects.
The book has been organized into thirteen chapters and is written from the third person point of view by the author. I was particularly surprised by the thoroughness with which the topics were addressed because each chapter includes specifics depending on the designated title. Additionally, there are several questions that will make the reader to stop reading and think deeply.
I must say that this book thrilled me in a lot of different ways. Fleischauer has incorporated a number of framed texts that contain quotes, anecdotes, jokes, and statistical information. Although the book is primarily about guidance, the author managed to inject humor into the text, which I found to be amusing. The book is worth reading since it contains stories with important lessons, such as those of a rural Afghan farmer who is destitute but wise and a former life insurance agent for Principal Financial. The author's inclusion of links to websites like job value and career planner assessments was another feature I appreciated. The reader will never forget this book for that helpful information when they visit such venues.
I believe that the book was professionally proofread because I did not detect any grammatical faults in it. Personally, I could not think of a single thing about this book that I did not like, so I wholeheartedly give it a rating of five out of five stars. Even though I still have some time before I start working and a long way to go until retiring, this book has given me a lot to think about. I advise anyone who is currently working, regardless of age, to read this book in order to gain access to the wealth of knowledge and practical advice that will enable them to maintain their financial security after retirement.
