Children's books are known to be informative and educational. In this children's book, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, the main character, Inca, is a Siberian cat and the leader of a detective agency. The agency was made up of Monk, Polo, Cara, Fromage, Charlotte, Terrance, and Inca.

They traveled to South Korea for an international cooking competition, where Inca's human mother, Missy, who is a chef, was chosen as one of the judges in the competition that was organized by Le Cordon Bleu. Missy also planned on showcasing her new cheese in the competition. They met Enzo, who is a French chef. Inca feels Enzo is jealous of Missy as Enzo tries to steal Missy's cheese. In the course of events, Inca and her friends came into contact with Ye-Jun, the tour guide, and Baram. Baram would need their help to find Bo-mi. They set out as they risked their lives to go in search of Bo-mi. Get a copy of the book to follow them on their mission.

It was a great experience reading this book. I found a lot of positive aspects in the book, but what I found exceptional was the characterization of the book. The characters were well developed. The addition of new characters increased the book's appeal because each of them played a specific role. The author created a great impression in my mind that animals are very intelligent, as was shown in the book. I really acknowledge her for her creativity. I learned a lot from the book. I now understand the meaning of some French expressions, such as "la crème de la crème," which means "the best of the best."

There was no flaw in the book, so I didn’t dislike anything. It was a perfect short book that I really enjoyed. I found it engaging, as I was really interested in the outcome of the events that occurred in the book. The illustrations in the book made the book appealing. It would enable children to understand the book better. The author made use of simple grammatical words in the book. The book was also free of errors. This shows it was exceptionally well edited. For this reason, coupled with the fact that I love the cover page because it looks appealing, I would rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

I would love to recommend the book to children and lovers of children's books. It would be an exciting experience for them, as they would get to see the excellent teamwork of Inca and her friends.
