Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
The book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a thrilling story of a young man called Galen. Galen grew up in the lands of the princes where there was war for many years. It was a miserable place to be as commoners spent their lives grinding poverty among the diseased and also starving. On the other hand the lucky ones trying to make a living were threatened by the princes who believed that they were making the enemies stronger. Galen once got a golden opportunity to escape from these lands. It was illegal to move from the lands of the princes and so the soldiers started chasing after him for the attempt to escape. He was so lucky to outran them and reached where a ship was waiting. The captain of the ship saved him from the soldiers and killed them. Galen boarded the ship very excited to have escaped these lands. He reached the kingdom of Voulhire where it was nothing like his homeland. Voulhire was a peaceful country and he was received well by the people there. Galen started a new life in Voulhire with the money and the house that his uncle had left behind. He even took after him in his career of a blacksmith.
What I love most about the book is that the story is structured in the days when kings ruled the world. The story is based on the land of Voulhire, which is a kingdom ruled by a king. The author has put an effort in writing the descriptions of the characters at the beginning of the book to avoid confusion when reading the book. The author used graphics in writing this book. He has used the map of the land of Voulhire which helped me to understand the story better. I also love the use of dialogue in the book which made the story more dramatic. I also love some sense of humor applied by the author in writing the book. For example when Galen told the old man in the ship that he was heading to Magnum Caelum, the old man cried out the word Magnum Caelum but then he scratched his head and said that he did not knew it. I found this so funny.
There is nothing that I dislike about the book.
I award this book a rating of five out of five stars . This is because the book is interesting. I enjoyed so much reading the book. Also the book is professionally edited as I did not notice any typing error when reading the book. There is no reason to deny this book the highest rating.
I recommend this book to fun readers. The book is so interesting and I promise you will enjoy reading it. The book can also be used to make a script for filming a movie. This is because it is a dramatic story that will surely make more dramatic scenes.
