Review of E M P Honeymoon
On a vacation island, Kelly and Tom Turbulo are on their honeymoon when something goes awry. Kelly pokes around inside a pigsty store and finds something inappropriate. This endangered her life. She runs away from the terrorists pursuing her out of fear. She calls her brother right away to explain her situation. It is discovered later that these terrorists are preparing for a deadly strike. This pair is involved in a multinational conspiracy that involves a terrifying scheme to wipe out North America, and they need to devise a way to stop this terrible scheme from coming to pass. What exactly will it be? Are these terrorists going to be stopped by them? Get the book to find out.
In the McBride series, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a stand-alone book. With every exciting moment, this fast-paced action thriller enthralled me. I adore how Dorothy added humor to the discourse. As I read these humorous scenes, I laughed out loud. The sequence in which Sharon and Agatha, Senator McBride's bodyguards, and Kelly's older brother swiftly dispatched a CIA spy was among the funniest ones I saw. CIA agent Steve Spalding believed he would be able to take them out quickly because they were female, but he was mistaken. This gripping thriller centers on a group of people who want to reveal a terrorist threat to the United States. Readers will have a hard time putting this book down because each scene ends on a cliffhanger. The author describes the effects of a nuclear weapon, including what would happen if one were set up and launched at the intended location.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. The plot is woven by the author in such a way that it is impossible to look away from each page without blinking. The book features a light romance as well as an exciting story twist. I'm in awe of Dorothy's skillful management of the characters. The characters seem relatable and true to life. The personalities of the characters resemble those we encounter every day. Since Kelly, Tom, and their friends are battling to preserve their nation from an approaching catastrophe, they are unable to have a honeymoon. It is an engrossing tale chock full of intrigue and tension.
I found the book's TV talk show interview to be the most entertaining section. What if the power goes out? is the topic of the interview. Because it brings up a topic that most people have never thought about, this show captured my interest. I learned something new that I was previously oblivious to. I was taught about solar flares using the Carrington Flare as an example. To encourage visitors to study more about solar flares, I like how the author's picture and website details were given. This book has a ton of useful information.
There was nothing in this book that bothered me. It has excellent editing. I give this book a rating of five out of five stars. Anyone who reads the thrilling scenarios in this exquisitely written piece will be thrilled. In my opinion, thriller fans should read this book.
