Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if it was controlled by Artificial Intelligence? Our world is slowly being taken over by technology and science, but not completely yet. Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill narrates the dominance of AIs in a city using the story of the protagonist, Kim. This book contains themes that will teach you a lot after reading.

The AIs determine the lifestyles of people in the city. Kim followed every instruction, adhere to all the rules and lived how she was asked to. Having a stiff work time and a not-so-exciting lifestyle, Kim had a little fun with her friend, Shan, which landed them in trouble. She expected the worst from her boss at work, who was notified about her misconduct and was ready for her punishment. But she got promoted, it's strange, right? Do you want to know why she got promoted? And how she took this news? Start reading this book to find out more.

Everything about this book seemed real and relatable to me. While reading this book, I imagined such a situation in our world today. I realized that it will be easy to take over our world because of the rapid advancement of science and technology. Being able to do whatever you want to, whenever you want to and wherever you want to, is the best thing you or anyone can ask for. To have robots and science do your every need can be annoying and has many disadvantages.

Furthermore, I enjoyed reading about Kim and Shan's adventure, it brought out a rebellious side of Kim that I always knew she had. I appreciate Craig for describing the technological gadgets very well, I am not a tech person and his descriptions made it easier for me to understand. The arrangement of the chapters, pages and paragraphs was perfect, making it easy to read. Furthermore, I liked the fact that Kim did not loosen up after everything changed and was more favorable for her. She was able to notice the suspicious activities of the AIs and started investigating. That was very brave of her.

I was thrilled by the gadgets mentioned in this book and what they were used for. I did not dislike anything about this book and it was professionally edited. The writing style is simple and I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend Terms of Service to readers that are interested in technology and love to read books about Artificial Intelligence.
