The Thin Blue Li(n)e is a collection of stories about the different personalities of law enforcement members written by Brain Cook. The wolves, sheep, and sheepdogs are three distinct law enforcement characters that Brain notes could be present at the beginning of his work. He further describes another group of people as "wolves in sheep's clothing." He also talks about different events he attended with his friends. He graduated from law enforcement as a lieutenant officer.

Brain did extensive work in his writing; the book is composed of forty-nine chapters divided into fifteen parts, each with a unique title. The first thirteen parts contain three chapters each, while the last two parts contain four chapters each. The author begins by teaching about the three main personalities: sheep, sheepdogs, and wolves. What does each of these personalities represent? Which personality type do you belong to? He elaborated on their graduation events. In the subsequent chapters, he extensively discussed these personalities in the lives of his colleagues. He also elaborates on the various occasions they shared with his colleagues and friends. Read this book to learn more about different personality types and to be able to identify your own.

The positive aspects of this story that I enjoy most are the author's arrangement of the plot setting and how he grouped the chapters with beautiful topics that help the reader understand quickly. The extensive explanation of the different personalities is another beautiful thing about the work. The themes of this book include different personality characteristics and life experiences in law enforcement.

There are lessons in this book. I discovered different personality characteristics found among individuals within society and how to identify them through their displays. I learned that people's personalities make them react to the same incident differently, and this influences their lifestyles.

I enjoyed the book and, as such, didn't dislike it, despite the use of profane words. The book contains a number of profane words that are repeatedly used. The book doesn't contain grammatical or typographical errors; this shows that the book was exceptionally well edited. For the aforementioned reasons, I rate the book 4 out of 5 stars.

My recommendation goes to those that love literature books and to those that seek to learn more about personality differences in individuals, as this book has a lot to teach them about how to identify such people. I also recommend the book to those in intelligence agencies, such as law enforcement, as the book will not only give them clues about individual characters but also practical means of identifying them through their actions.
