Sing Wen and Kana Wen are two Japanese sisters who rented a house together, with Kana working as an IT agent and Sing working in a clothing store. Although both single, the sisters couldn't be any more different; Sing was more of a nightlife person, and she and her friends Ruby and Lexy made it a thing to go clubbing every Saturday night. On one particular night, Lexy and Ruby followed two older men back from the club and only returned to tell Sing about an offer made to them to work as servers in a manor. Ignoring her sister's advice to stay away from it as she suspected shady activities, Sing proceeded to go with Lexy and Ruby to the manor, where they signed a lifelong contract. Unknown to Sing, she was being deprived of her freedom forever, but it was too late to turn back. What will become of her and her decision?
 
The book continues on with the story of her son, Lucas Wen Baiten, who was brought up and raised by her sister Kana.
 
Diamond J&G Manor Parley Gambling House by Sylvie L. Gionet talks about many things, one of them being how the greed for something, be it money or other valuables, pushes people to make decisions that they are soon to regret, one of them, as in the novel, being the forever loss of freedom, and this being quite literally just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the repercussions. It also talks about the love between sisters and how the bond between them is so strong that nothing could ever break it, as they would always be there for each other regardless of whether a terrible decision was made or how much communication was lost. The bond stays as strong as ever. It also talks about love and how far one is willing to go to keep the ones they love.
 
The storyline of the book was not the only thing I found enjoyable, but also the author's writing style, which was very simple and easy to understand. Aside from that, I also enjoyed how, in a way, the author made it a point to provide the readers with some lessons as she made reference to a phrase that says not everything that glitters is gold.
 
The only thing I disliked was how it appeared too fast-paced; it was like the characters were being rushed, but it was still quite an interesting read.
 
I give the book a 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend it to people interested in romance above others.
