If you got separated from your sibling, to what extent would you go to be reunited with them again? Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi, revolves around a plan to reunite two siblings and its execution.
 
Missy takes Inca and her siblings to a French-organized culinary competition on the Korean peninsula. Missy was invited to be a judge at this event and will use this opportunity as a medium to showcase her new cheese recipe. Their tour guide Ye-jun and his dog Baram have been apart from his sister Ji and her cat Bo-mi. It is up to the Inca Cat Detective Agency to devise a plan to reunite both siblings and their pets.
 
When I was still in elementary school, they used to make us read books about pets, but from what I could remember, they didn’t make them like this. Back then, it was always about the colors and not the story, but as I read through this book, I didn’t just find colors or pictures; I found a story that teaches the reader about the importance of family and friendship. The best thing about this book was that Missy loved her children. She didn’t just see them as pets but as her family. I found this pleasing, as I believe this would teach children to value animals and shower love on them.
 
There was nothing to hate about this book. I enjoyed reading it so much that I will read the other books in the series. I’ve never been one for children’s books, but this one changed my perspective, and I am grateful to the author for this.
 
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found no reason to grade it otherwise. There was nothing to hate about this book, so it is only proper that it gets a perfect rating. There were no errors in this book; it was perfectly edited. I recommend this book to people who love reading about pets and to children in kindergarten and elementary schools.
