It has always been humanity's life-long goal to live a life that is happy and fulfilling at both the personal, and community level. Between the hassles of our career, family, and community life, finding a balance can be a challenge. A challenge that this book aims to overcome. Throughout the book, the author guides us to constantly evaluate, and reassess all the necessary areas of our lives and guides us to make suitable amends. With 13 key life lessons, Mr. Hall shows us how ordinary people can live extraordinary lives.

Always Strive to Be a Better You: How Ordinary People Can Live Extraordinary Lives is a book of nonfiction by Pete Hall. In the book, he emphasizes that as we strive towards our personal goals, we should also seek to give back to our communities, and better the world. The book is educative, and inspirational, and is written in an upbeat, and fairly humorous tone. Pete Hall is a school principal, life coach, and a small-business owner who is dedicated to impacting people's lives positively.

In this book, for instance, he guides us through critical introspection and other constructive activities such as understanding our core values, and making amends where necessary, I especially love how well-detailed the lessons are. The author also does very well in engaging the reader with progressive activities in every chapter, applying the knowledge as they read on. I also love that the author promotes a sense of community by insisting that we find ways to give back to the community even as we pursue personal goals. I feel like the importance of this statement cannot be overstated. There are also many invaluable lessons in the book, but I find it mostly inspiring. Inspiration to better ourselves, better the world, and inspiration for selfless service of others.

Having put into practice the activities as described by the author, I can affirm the effectiveness of the lessons therein. With a nonexistent "perfect life", Mr. Pete Hall challenges us to always strive to reach the asymptote of our unlimited potential. This book is easily one of the best in its category that I've come across. I find nothing to dislike about it. I also found no errors in grammar or punctuation so the work was quite professional in my opinion. I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

The book contains minimal profanity and would be suitable for readers across all ages, but I strongly recommend it to readers above 25 years of age who may be seeking to find a "work-life balance", or others who may be looking for a way to give back to society while still striving towards their personal goals, and also anyone that desires a happy, virtuous, and good life.
