This book is an interesting read for people that are interested in preparing for retirement. It's a non-fiction book which is well edited as I did not come across any errors. The author is a certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Retirement Income Professional and an Estate Planner. He gives insightful information about income protection plan, disability income insurance, career assessments, life insurance, health insurance, budgeting, wills and trusts.etc. and speaks on how to use these to reconfigure our lives and plan for the future. He encourages one to take advantage of this opportunity and make it a turning point in our lives. He reminds us that our lifespan has been increased thus increased longevity means people will spend more time in retirement, thereby increasing the amount of retirement income needed and explains the importance of prepping ourselves financially for the future otherwise many will run out of money. I absolutely enjoyed his sense of humor as the book includes funny jokes and this is one way that he doesn't bore you with all the financial planning concepts. I enjoyed reading this book and I have certainly gained more knowledge on the reality of retirement. I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 as it's a good read, gives you alot of info on retirement and has funny jokes.
