Cheese is exceptionally appealing. It is a versatile meal that can be eaten as a snack, soup, or sauce. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi, revolves around Missy's new, delicious cheese and the efforts of her children to protect it from bad people.

Missy is invited by a French culinary school to be a judge at a cooking competition between North and South Korea on the Korean Peninsula. What happens when Missy's cheese goes missing at the airport? Furthermore, will Inca, her brother Fromage, and her sister Cara, along with the other members of the Inca Cat Detective Agency, be able to find this cheese in time for the competition? This is a really fun book, and it has the answers to both questions.

I felt nostalgic while reading this book as it brought back memories from elementary school. I liked how colorful it was and how its pages were filled with pictures. The author's choice of diction made this book pretty straightforward, and I did not encounter a lull while reading through its pages. My favorite character was Terrance; he was a smart, swift dog with excellent instincts, and the Inca Cat Detective agency is lucky to have him on the team.

There was absolutely nothing to hate about this book. The story was well-written, and I enjoyed it a lot. I must acknowledge the author for a job well done. There are other prequels to this book that I haven't read yet, and I am looking forward to reading all of them. 

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars, as I didn't find any other reason to rate it any lower. This book is free from grammatical or typographical errors, which indicates that it was perfectly edited. I recommend this book to children who love reading about pets, family, and friendships.
