Inca, the Siberian cat, is the leader of a renowned detective agency called Inca & Company. With her team of animal friends and their loyal human companions, Inca sets out to solve the most perplexing mysteries. In Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, Inca, and her crew travel to enchanting South Korea. Missy, Inca's human mother, has been selected as a judge at a French patisserie competition organized by the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, with the prospect of presenting her special cheese.

Upon arrival in South Korea, Inca, and her team meet other judges, including Enzo, who later turns out to be a suspect in the theft of Missy's cheese. The cheese goes missing, and the team springs into action to solve the case. Along the way, they meet intriguing new characters, including Ye-Jun, their tour guide. Ye-Jun is on a mission to find his missing sister, and he enlists the help of the Inca and her detective team to assist him in his search. Along the way, they learn about the complexities of life in Korea, food's cultural significance, and teamwork's importance. Will Inca and her friends be able to find the missing girl and uncover secrets about the Korean Peninsula?

I was captivated by the moral lessons that the novel instilled in me. What I like most about this novel is the way it emphasizes the importance of unity, bravery, and problem-solving skills. These lessons are invaluable to every young reader, and I enjoyed how the characters embodied them. The novel's plot is simply breathtaking; it kept me highly entertained. The feline detectives and their human counterparts worked tirelessly together to solve the mystery of the missing cheese. It was an adventurous journey that I loved every bit of.

The cultural setting of the novel was another aspect that I liked. The colorful illustrations in the book were also one of the things I loved most. They were vibrant, well-drawn, and complemented the story perfectly. I appreciated the author's use of simple and easy-to-understand language. It made the novel accessible to all readers, regardless of their reading level.

With great pleasure, I want to say that I dislike nothing about this novel. It is a novel that I found appealing in all aspects. The novel is exceptionally well-edited, as I noticed no errors while reading it. Therefore, I give this novel a rating of 5 out of 5 stars for its engaging plot, well-developed characters, valuable moral lessons, colorful illustrations, and simple language. These elements make it a great book for children and adults alike. I recommend this book to young readers who enjoy thrilling detective stories and animal tales and want to learn more about different cultures.
