Kevin Richardson's My Shadow And I is a book for kids. A young boy and his dog named Shadow are the main characters in this sweet book. Shadow is always by his side, and she participates in all of his activities. Look in on these two pals as they enjoy some quality time together.

This book shows the many possible ways a child can spend time with their dog, including sleeping while the owner is away. The illustrations were also a little bit out of the ordinary for a children's book, but that's part of what makes this book special. The boy narrates the story, detailing his and Shadow's favourite pastimes. This book displays the love and friendship between a boy and his dog.

This book is great because it teaches kids how to properly interact with a dog. It's not uncommon for kids to tease or hurt a dog during play. If this is their first dog, they can use this book as a primer on how to care for and train their new pet. The dog's name was perfect because a pet truly is like a person's shadow.

I didn't have a single complaint about this book. When it comes to how dogs behave when they are left alone or when they are being played with, the author was spot on.

This book receives a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars from me because I believe that it will pique a child's interest due to the fact that it is about a dog and because it contains unique illustrations. Dogs are a popular choice as pets among children, and I believe they were the perfect choice for the book. The fact that I only spotted one error leads me to believe the book was professionally edited.

I would suggest this book to kids whose families have recently gotten a dog or who already have one.

I often find dog stories fascinating. This seems to be an interesting piece. Good thing it is largely free of errors.

The cover is so warm; it captures a beautiful moment of the two friends. It will make a great gift to kids with a pet or wish to have one. They'll learn how to have fun and also avoid injuring themselves or their pet while playing.
