Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is an interesting children’s tale with animal characters. The book is the eighth in the series, and it revolves around the detective agency with Inca as their leader. Other members of the detective agency include Polo, Monk, Fromage, Terrance, Cara, and Charlotte.

The Siberian cat, Inca, and her human mother, Missy, had to travel to South Korea for an international cooking competition there, as Missy got an invite from Le Cordon Bleu Cookery to partake as a judge in the competition. When they got to South Korea, they became acquainted with the tour guide, Ye Jun, and after they got to know each other, they went to his house and also met Baram. A lot occurred on their trip, and eventually the cat detectives will be preparing for what we call a rescue mission. Pick up a copy to read and enjoy the book.

I’m glad I came across this interesting children's book with a lot of positive aspects. I’ve never been a fan of children’s books, but until I read this book, my perspective on them really changed because the author did a great job with the character development and storyline of the book. I really questioned myself about whether animals could put up with those intelligent ideas and plots in the book. This is a book that children would learn a lot from. I also love the writing style of the author because the book was written in simple words to enable children to read and understand without difficulty.

I didn’t dislike anything in the book because it was entertaining. It is a short book, so reading it was really easy and fun. I also noted that the book explores themes of love, teamwork, and courage, among others. Another aspect where the author did a great job is the cover page of the book. The book cover is really attractive, and it can easily capture the attention of children. The editing was top-notch because the author made sure there were no errors in the book.

I’m definitely rating the book five out of five stars. The book was perfectly written, and it has a lot of positive aspects, which is why I gave it a perfect rating. I found no errors because the book was exceptionally well edited. I suggest the book to children between the ages of seven and eleven because they will find it fun and entertaining to read about Inca and the rest of the group.
