Hold Your Breath, written by Rana Biter, is a non-fiction book about the horrors of Corona pandemic. The book starts with the author's thoughts about the place she would like to be if she died. Her likes were different from those of her husband and children since they liked going to the spa for entertainment. She talks about the situation of corona and cancer, where one is inside, and the other is outside. You do chemotherapy to chase the first and double mask to trap the second. People say we are all in this together, which is the truth but cancer patients battle between two death forms: the inside one and the outside one. Read the book to know the touching story of the Corona Pandemic.

I liked the question the author started within the first chapter; for instance, "Have you ever thought of where you would want to be when and if the world was about to end?" since they helped me reflect on things in life. I asked myself the same question making me read the book to know what she did to answer the question. She interestingly analyses the story, for instance, corona and cancer comparison. Cancer is inside, and corona is outside, where people wear masks to keep it away. They hide smiles and truth. Finally, I enjoyed the personalization of Covid. The author refers to Covid as Mr. Covid and wants to talk to him about keeping a woman in ICU, but he can't hear or respond. It was interesting talking to Covid as if it was a person.

I have nothing to dislike in the book. It was a perfect novel the author used to share her story and feeling in Covid time.

I rate Hold Your Breath, written by Rana Biter, five out of five stars. The book was professionally edited since I found an error. The book is a like a debate where the author asks questions engaging readers to ask the same questions. She analyzed the story well, bringing interesting comparisons that brought pity. She personalizes Covid to make the story interesting, asking it questions as if it was a person who could answer. With all these, I give the book a perfect rating, even with the error.

I recommend it to lovers of poetry. They would find it charming since the author narrates the story of the pandemic using poems.
