Review of Man Mission
There are several adventures in the novel Man Mission by Eytan Uliel. In this book, a group of friends occasionally go on adventures so they can get some fresh air and live their lives without worrying about having to go to work the next day. The male characters in this book are old friends from their youth who have remained close and supported one another as they've grown. One of them returned home from their first trip to New Zealand with a ruptured ligament, so it wasn't the best journey. After visiting Australia, the second journey was to Japan. Even though there was a history of injuries during most of their journeys, it didn't stop these friends from spending their free time doing what they enjoyed. Do you want to know what happened during the rest of their journey in terms of escapades? Continue reading this book.
Many of the Man Mission incidents are expertly interspersed with flashbacks to life at home by the author. As he discusses the funny antics of the personalities on each trip and the strengths and flaws of each of the men, Uliel's sense of humor is infectious. He paints beautiful pictures of the surroundings at each location in his writings. The reader can identify with the four characters' joy, tears, personal challenges, and achievements as they transition from being young men to middle-aged adults and attempt to define who they are outside of their daily lives.
The writing style of the author is what I like most. There are flashbacks that describe the events that occurred in the main character's life the year before he embarked on a man mission in each chapter when the guys go on a man mission. It makes reading the book for me more enjoyable and fun. In the end, I find that I appreciate the life narrative of the main character more than the Man Mission portion. I started to get annoyed with the main character about halfway through the book. He complained a lot, in my opinion, but did nothing to improve his situation. I also believed that he went on a macho mission and performed manly deeds to cover up his lack of masculinity at home. My strong emotional connection to the characters is evidence that the author did a fantastic job creating this novel.
There was nothing about the book that I didn't like. The story was superbly related to the readers by the author. It was interesting and enjoyable to read the book. I gave the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The book was exceptionally well edited. There were no grammatical faults that I could find. The book's events flow naturally, and readers can easily keep up with the lives of the characters.
I recommend this book to readers who appreciate reading adventures. The book captivates readers and takes them on a journey through the various experiences that the author and his friends have had over the years. Every time they go hiking, they choose a new place.
