REVIEW : The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The story is written by Mark Twain. The story is about a mischievous boy named Tom who stays with his aunt. This is an adventurous story which rolls around Tom's activity and his behavior. The story is very interesting to read to find the traces of real culprit i.e. Injun Joe. Apart from the story the characters which story holds are very attractive. The writing style of the author in this book is simple which provides a smooth pace to the story. Some parts of the story are stretched so long that it may peeve reader's mind. Although the chapters are relatable but some chapters are unnecessarily trapped in the book. If this unnecessary phases were dig out then story would proved to be more compelling.

Altogether a good read.

I think 4 stars at the least would be what most would expect, but this book is quite an old one, with a style not used much now.

I probably prefer the Huckleberry Finn work from Twain, but regardless the man was truly a visionary.

I enjoyed this book as a child. But I don't think it's a book for every young child. Tom is very mischievous and I still won't read it to my impressionable little brothers for fear they might get more ideas than they already have.

Really enjoyable across cultures. However, it might feel a bit nostalgic nowadays in view of the ubiquitous latest technologies surrounding the kids:-)

Being completely honest, it wasn't exactly my favorite book. But it was, actually, much better than I was expecting.

an old time classic. How kids played and lived when technology was simply non-existent.
