In my humble opinion, Dorothy May Mercer exhibits an extraordinary talent for crafting a riveting tale. Her writing exudes an air of mystery and intrigue as the characters painstakingly unravel the intricacies of the terrorists' diabolical plan. While the plot follows a more straightforward trajectory, devoid of unexpected twists and turns, the author masterfully maintains a palpable tension that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Each chapter is skillfully crafted to heighten the suspense, even during moments of respite. And while surprises may be few, the vibrant and diverse cast of characters more than compensates, injecting the narrative with delightful moments of levity through their witty banter and amusing antics.

Reading this book proved to be an immensely pleasurable experience, as I found no fault to detract from its enjoyment.
