E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer takes readers on an exhilarating journey with honeymooners who find themselves working undercover alongside government operatives, all in an effort to protect North America from a dangerous threat posed by a cunning foreign adversary.

Kelly, the sister of Senator Michael McBride, embarks on her much-anticipated honeymoon in land of Honduras, accompanied by her loving husband, Tom Turbulo, a dedicated and fearless CCPD cop. Little do they know that their idyllic getaway will thrust them into the heart of a highly classified and potentially catastrophic mission aimed at wreaking havoc on American soil. As the stakes escalate, Kelly reaches out to her influential brother, desperate for his assistance in foiling the nefarious plot. Senator McBride, fueled by a fierce determination to ensure his sister's safety, spares no effort to protect her from harm. Along the way, Kelly and Tom unexpectedly cross paths with the resourceful CIA agent Steve Spalding, leading to a formidable alliance against the insidious threat. Together, they navigate a treacherous landscape where danger lurks at every turn. Can this determined trio emerge victorious and save the day? The answer lies within the gripping pages of this captivating book.

In my humble opinion, Dorothy May Mercer exhibits an extraordinary talent for crafting a riveting tale. Her writing exudes an air of mystery and intrigue as the characters painstakingly unravel the intricacies of the terrorists' diabolical plan. While the plot follows a more straightforward trajectory, devoid of unexpected twists and turns, the author masterfully maintains a palpable tension that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Each chapter is skillfully crafted to heighten the suspense, even during moments of respite. And while surprises may be few, the vibrant and diverse cast of characters more than compensates, injecting the narrative with delightful moments of levity through their witty banter and amusing antics.

Reading this book proved to be an immensely pleasurable experience, as I found no fault to detract from its enjoyment. The impeccable editing is a testament to the author's attention to detail, with not a single error to be found. I therefore give E M P Honeymoon a well-deserved rating of 5 out of 5 stars. If you are a fan of pulse-pounding action, spine-tingling suspense, and a touch of romance, I implore you to embark on this thrilling literary adventure brought to life by the remarkable talents of Dorothy May Mercer.
