E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer Have you ever been in danger like Kelly as she walks into a shop, hoping to get a fascinating gift for her nephew and niece from her honeymoon? She became carried away by the selection without realizing she had walked into a lab filled with monitoring gadgets. As smart as she was, she slipped out of her enemy's grip to escape. Quickly, she called her brother, Senator McBride, who felt it was a prank call. But later realized it was Kelly, her sister. Was she safe at the moment? What were her discoveries at the shop? Read on and find out for yourself.

I so much like this book. From the first page to the last page, it was so interesting. The author, Dorothy May, did a great job. The interview with Professor Dr. Peter enlightened his audience on what will happen when the power goes out. Meaning what will happen when an electromagnetic pulse is set at a target. The characters were properly developed. As they showed a patriotic quality. The book was filled with action and suspense, as the characters and places looked too real. The English used was simple and clear.

There is nothing I dislike about this book, as the author’s writing skill is perfect. Good communication is one thing I like so much about this book. Just one torch on a cellphone line is enough to create a disaster or help someone in danger. I learned so much about the EMP and solar flares. May Mercer is very good at creating plots, mostly political, cybernetic, and romantic. The role Kelly played was great. She was a hero all through the story. The romance section of the book was decent and not too erotic.

This book is well detailed, as the author has a good way of gathering facts before writing it. Based on the information and research section at the end of the book, it revealed she did her research very well. This book is exceptionally well edited, as I did not see anything bad about it. Although Steve and Sharon fell in love, it also added value to the book. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to people who love action-filled books, suspense-packed books, and scientific discoveries. Those who want to know more about nuclear weapons can read this book. Also, those who want to know more about terrorism should go for this book.
